I.D. – Once Again (Flore remix)
‘Once Again’ is a breakstep/garage roller coming from dub/breaks producer I.D. It comes with remixes from Baobinga and Flore, and IDJ mag called it ‘a blinder of a package’ when they reviewed it with a 9/10. I thought the original was great but the Flore remix is the one that completely stand out with its 4-4 beats that reminds me to what the Mad Decent camp been championing. I’d drop this in my set anytime.
SBTRKT – Wildfire
The sensational masked artis SBTRKT is on verge of dropping his debut album on Young Turks label. He was kind enough to give away the first single of the album titled Wildfire, featuring Little Dragon’s vocalist Yukimi Nagano.
Jess Mills – Vulture (MJ Cole remix)
After collaboration with artists the like of Breakage and Leftfield, Jess Mills is finally ready to strike out on her own with the release of her first EP. Vultures EP features remixes from Photek, Nu:Tone and UK garage luminaries MJ Cole. In this remix, MJ Cole dig deep into his crate by creating a lush and smooth 2 step garage number that harks back to the golden age of UK garage.

Toddla T – Take It Back (Dillon Francis Remix)
Toddla T’s follow up to his 2009 Skanky Skanky is coming out later this year. In the meantime, here’s a sneak peek to that upcoming album, a track titled “Take It Back”. In this preview is a remix version from LA producer Dillon Francis. The remix is a heavy house tune that chug along with its chunky beats and lead line while maintaining the euphoric ravey piano and concealing majority of Shola Ama’s vocal. Nice tune to play when you try to give that dance floor a bit of a breather. The album will be out later on Ninja Tune,
Kito & Reija Lee – This City (ASA & Koan remix)
This Australian dubstep duo is releasing their EP on Diplo’s Mad Decent. ASA & Koan smoothed out the tune a lil bit without straying to far from the original.
