Nu:Tone – Shine In (ft. Natalie Williams)
After the slightly disappointing LP “Back Of Beyond”, drum’n'bass producer Nu:Tone a.k.a Dan Gresham return with his third full length titled “Words & Pictures”. Overall, this album is a return to form, going back to what Nu:Tone knows best; Fast Soul Music! The result is probably his best work to date. Excellent techno induced lead single “Shine In” featuring long time partner Natalie William and “The Feeling” featuring Ben Westbeech stood out among the 12 tunes offered in this album. This is a must have for fan of soulful drum’n'bass.
Hussle Club – Loose Tights (Flinch Remix)
Hussle Club is a solo project from Prince Terrence who has played the drums for and toured worldwide with Santigold, Spank Rock, Heartsrevolution and Major Lazer. In the meantime here’s dubstep remix from LA’s Flinch. If I’m not mistaken, Flinch and dubsteb/drum’n'bass producer 12th Planet a.k.a. Infiltrata were also members and founder of True Pseudo, an electro trio from Huntington Beach, CA. I wonder whatever happened to that projects?
Adam Kesher – Hour Of The Wolf (Lifelike Remix)

Adam Kesher is a group of French guys that decide to get together and formed a band that sounds like a dude’s name. Yeah, weird but they’re French so I never even gonna try to understand it. Anyhow, here’s a remix from Lifelike of their latest single Hour Of The Wolf. The original was produced by Chromeo so I can already pretend to imagine that it’s a highly new wave induced sound. Upon hearing the remix from Lifelike with its new wave influenced vocal (Dave Gahan’s Depeche Mode rings a bell here), I’m probably right on the mark.

Jasmin Solano Mini Mix

I stumbled upon this excellent minimix from Jasmin Solano. Apparently she was Wiz Khalifa’s DJ on the Deal or No Deal Tour. The sound is a bit of everything put together to create one hell of a trip. Just check it out.

Clare Maguire – The Last Dance (Danny Byrd Remix)
There’s a reason why this Hospital Record’s staff have become of of the longest enduring talent to be around in the label’s catalog. Danny Byrd has constantly put out fresh sounding tunes without missing one bit of his trademark sound. His latest remix of this upcoming singer Clare Maguire’s single “The Last Dance” is another evidence with its uplifting sound that eerily remind me to his classic tune “Do It Again” added with his new rave sound that he has championed in his last album Rave Digger. The result is hands in the air with euphoric feel on the dance floor. Maguire’s debut album will be out in two weeks time.
