Jookie
Foamo a.k.a. Kye Gibbon has now cements himself as one of the leaders of the new guard. Having risen through the ranks, a product of the blogosphere, Jookie sees Foamo fulfil his potential and justify the countless comparisons that have been made between him and some of the finest. Jookie and its b-side Centavo will be out on Fat! Records in 26 April 2010.

I Think I Like U2
We’re gonna step away from the usual dance music related in this post because this particular track is just too good to be overlooked. Having very famous producers and coming from hip country like France will certainly get you noticed. This exactly what Jamaica has done by hiring Xavier De Rosnay from Justice as their producer. Despite all the hype, so far Jamaica has manage to deliver with this catchy piece of French guitar pop along the line of other French bands such as Phoenix. Their yet to be named album is scheduled for release sometimes in August this year so you need to keep this on the lookout.
So Good
Croydon’s Tek-One has been producing some of the heaviest beat to date but their latest tune “So Good” is so good (no pun intended). Departing from their usual heavy beat and thunderous wobble bass, “So Good” gives nice garage vibe with reference to some old skool rave stab. It’s the future of dub and garage.

Vial
Vial is the latest great tune to come out from Breakage’s album Foundation. In collaboration with Burial, Breakage has manage to create new Archangel for the new dubstep generation. In other word, this is one of his finest work to date.
Memories
A mix of David Guetta added with Kid Cudi and Armand Van Helden makes one slamming dance floor burner. “Memories” is just that.

Only Man
Only Man is Audio Bullys’ lead single from their upcoming album “Higher Than Eiffel”. The original gives you a bit of that Indie rock meets the dancefloor (but not necessarilly nu-rave) feel, while Milan’s Reset! stripped away all those rock element and turn it into an all twisted fidget house anthem. Remember that “Higher Than Eiffel” will be out on 18 of May through Cooking Vinyl.
Step Toe
This is why I stop following genre’s name. After dubstep and all of its variants then now along comes half step which is supposedly like drum’n'bass but at half its speed. I have no problem with new sounds but please stop giving new name for every little variations invented. Enough ranting and back to the music. As one of the early proponent of liquid drum’n'bass, Calibre has never shy away from experimentation. Earlier, he flirts with the idea of infusing house with drum’n'bass and eventually settled with the sound we’ve associated with Calibre. Now his next experiment is the form of “Step Toe”, a half speed wobble induced d’n'b if you can still call it that. I believe that half step is gonna be next big thang among d’n'b djs out there.

So You Think You’re Special?
Paul Rose a.k.a. Scuba just dropped his debut album entitled “Triangulation”. One thing refreshing about this album is the fact that it’s pretty much a wobble free dubstep. Of course the next question to arise is whether this is indeed dubstep or not? By listening to “So You Think You’re Special” you’ll get a pretty good idea about what “Triangulation” all about.
Super Neon Bros are back with a new remix !
Jakarta’s own and yours trully SUPERNEONBROS went back to to their 80′s vault for this retro styling bootleg remix of Billy Ocean’s hit Caribbean Queen. We hope this track can bang the dancefloor like crazy.
