Amanda Blank took the world by storm with her contribution to the track “Bump” from Spank Rock’s 2006 breakout album “YoYoYoYoYo”. And now, with the release of her debut solo album “I Love You” she’s ready to to put her self in the short A-list of female singers/rappers that includes the like of M.I.A. and Santi Gold. Buzz it!

Scion has enlisted Japanese metal group Boris for its latest release, “Scion A/V Remix: Boris.” The group’s blues-rock inspired track “Buzz-In” is remixed by four brilliant and diverse beat-driven DJs and producers. Husband and wife duo Iggor Cavalera of Brazilian heavy-metal band Sepultura, and Laima Leyton, are now known as Mixhell and make a rare appearance on this Scion A/V project, infusing a heavy electro pop feel to the track. Other remixes are also available from the like of Optimo, Nosaj Things, and Todd Edwards.

Beginning September 8, 2009, “Scion A/V Remix: Boris” will be available for purchase at all major online retailers and distributed at special Scion-sponsored events.

I Am Alive!

Don Diablo salutes Little Man Tate with an exclusive remix of their latest single “I Am Alive” (Skint Records). The Sheffield-based band calls it quits after touring the world for the past four years, releasing two albums and having a handful of modest chart hits in the UK. The indie-rockers have announced two final shows at the O2 Academy in Sheffield on October 2 (extra show, tickets still available) & October 3 (sold out). Don Diablo: “I am honoured I got to do the first and only official remix for the band. With this remix I salute Little Man Tate!”
